Hi Guys,

I studied martial arts (espacialy Karate-Do) until 17 and I didn't continue after Ikkyū. In my dojo there was a set of parallel baked woods we were training on it in order to strengthen our punch. It was something like 15cm. tall and 10cm. width... I was chatting with a friend a couple of days ago and I mentioned about that thing but I was not able to find on google.

Is there anyone who knows the name of that equipment? I tried to model it. I looks someting like that:

I think I found something else... Is it makiwara board? But all of the images are with a pillow on it. In our dojo, it was without a pillow.
