Losing weight the day after training

Snowbat

Recommended Posts

It's odd. I have trainings on thursday evenings which are pretty intense and every friday morning I weight a kilo less than normally, even if the day before I drank Aquarius after the training.

Anyone else having this? Wonder what causes it.

Yep. Always 2 lbs less the next day, no matter what I eat or drink. Pick up a couple of classes a week and the weight drops like a stone.

Conversely, it comes back just as quick when taking a break, so I think it's just water.

Leaves fall.

Like Harlan said, it's probably just water. I'm a pretty big guy and I sweat a lot, so my weight can go up and down as much as five pounds through the course of the day depending on how much I sweat versus how much water I drink.

You will also weight the least in the morning after waking up from a night's sleep. To see if this kind of weight loss is consistent, you need to weigh yourself at the same time every morning.

Ive been log on my weight on my blog and it shows that BJJ drops weight next morning. (I measure myself always in the morning).

BJJ drops weight, but max stregth training can even build up weight. It can be 0,5 kg more than before lifting ( that's next morning).

I know it's water. After BJJ I sweat a lot and after max weight training muscles are little bumped.
