ShotokanKid Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Nice...I'm sharing this with my workout buddies. "What we do in life, echoes in eternity.""We must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men."
sensei8 Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Thanks for sharing this video with us Danielle!!WOW...and that's all I can say about that!! If that young man doesn't succeed...than nobody else will. That detemination is evident in that young man and I believe that he'll go far.Imagine his drive in the body of a martial artist...WOW...again!! **Proof is on the floor!!!

DWx Posted September 9, 2011 Author Posted September 9, 2011 Glad you guys liked it. I don't know who the guy is in the vid, a football player obviously. The guy speaking is actually a motivational/success speaker Eric Thomas: But the editing on that video is awesome.Keep watching that video every time I can't be bothered to go running or don't feel in the mood for training. still kicking Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Well, that's cool. It was inspiring, and I very much appreciate his ambition and energy, and I agree with it all except for the not eating and sleeping part. You have to use not just the emotion of desiring success, but also your brain, which tells you that the body needs adequate rest and nutrition in order to function optimally. But he will probably find that out when he is a bit older.
DWx Posted October 9, 2011 Author Posted October 9, 2011 Well, that's cool. You have to use not just the emotion of desiring success, but also your brain, which tells you that the body needs adequate rest and nutrition in order to function optimally. But he will probably find that out when he is a bit older. Well yeah I think he'd be a fool not to rest up and eat properly. He probably does anyway if he's a serious athlete. I think the point the speaker was making was that if you want to succeed at something, all your energies have to go into that and you can't just keep putting it off because you'd rather do something else. still kicking Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Oh I know, DWx, I guess the no eating and sleeping part just grabbed my attention, because I do love eating and sleeping! In moderation, of course, ha ha. But I do get the point, and loved the video.
