guitarguy Posted July 7, 2011 Share Posted July 7, 2011 Hey guys my workouts atm comprise purely of bodyweight exercises and jump rope and I have come up with some very interesting exercises and variations which have worked well. The other day I decided I'd add another element to my workouts by adding kettlebells to the mix. I'll be the first to admit i know very little about them, i have used them lately but I know there'd be some books i could buy which would expand my horizions and give me more options. So is there any books you guys can recommend on kettlebells or functional training for the matter. All inputs are appreciated. Cheers.On a side note I know kettlebell routines are generally functional based but I'm not interested in any of the next "hits" to build muscle or the next split day sytem for "MAXIMUM MUSCLE GROWTH." Jay Posted July 8, 2011 Share Posted July 8, 2011 Pavel Tsatsouline has many plus any of his people that are certified by him are also very good, like Mike Mahler who does some BJJ stuff I believe. I learned from youtube videos mainly in terms of technique so you may want to just check them out, a quick google search of their name can give you an idea of the videos credentials, proper technique is a must to prevent injuries. The only reason i wanted books and or good vids is the form. I've been using my dumbells to get some basic form lately for the dumbell swing, and a couple of others.
