Are the dynamic stretches meant to be done quickly with force, similar to a kick? My goal is to improve the height of side kicks mostly. Kuma Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 They need to be controlled, not super slow but not snapped out like a full power kick either. When you go too fast it becomes more like ballistic stretching which can actually cause injury.
