Ok, I had to revive this thread. My last post on this topic was 7/28.

I went to the doctor the first week of August. The doctor cut the callus on my foot open, looked around & told me I had a planters wart! So, the doctor shaves the callus down and hits the wart with some kind of acid. After the acid, my foot hurt for a few days then it started to heal. Everything was great for a week, then, my foot started to hurt again.... back to the Dr, the wart came back, more acid. Everything was great for a week, then, my foot started to hurt again.... back to the Dr, the wart came back, more acid. This same process was repeated 3, yes 3 times!!! I sit here with my foot somewhat healed & scared to death that I'm going to wake up tomorrow with my foot hurting.

I managed to keep attending class through this process but it hasn't been easy. My intent of posting this is to make others aware. If ANYONE feels mild pain in the ball of the foot and / or the heal and you notice that the area of discomfort is raised or swollen... don't cut your foot open and look inside, have a professional cut your foot and look inside.

I used to get the warts on my palms and I can only imagine how much worse it must hurt to have to walk on one after the doc has frozen (or whatever approach yours is taking) it! I'm sorry!
