KickChick
Well monkeygirl and Blue those are all good suggestions for others that might be "vacationing" or "traveling" ... however, shotochem will be on a cruise ship so finding a ma school in the Caribbean or (wherever) may be a bit difficult Bon Voyage shotochem! _________________ KarateForums Sensei 1st dan Tae Kwon Do (ITF) Cardio/Fitness Kickboxing Instr. KickChick
Vacation time is Here!!! In just a couple of weeks I will be cruising also... (Hey shotochem.... how was that cruise and were you able to get in a workout??) Because most of our group is from the TKD school we will be doing some training in the fitness facility onboard the ship .... maybe ask if one of us instructors can do morning kickbox classes on deck If any of you are certified in AFAA, ACE, ACSM, IDEA (fitness, yoga & pilates), ) or tennis or scuba instructors.... you can teach while on vacation and get your vacation for free!!! http://www.pcaholidays.com
Withers M.A.A.
There are tons of things you can do to keep in shape over vacation. You can do squats and squat kicks. Try resistance kicking by putting your hand on a wall or chair raising your leg for a round or side kick and SLOWLY extending your leg out to form the kick and back to chamber. Do this numerous times and you'll def. feel it. 2nd Degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and Tae Kwon Do. 1997 NASKA competitor-2nd place Nationally in Blackbelt American Forms. Firearms activist!
