hx35543 Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I too feel your pain. Started TSD at 38. I have always been pretty flexible from stretching in the gym. But I never did high kicks or splits. I have gotten better. And please make sure you're warmed up before getting in to any serious stretching. I just tore something in my hamstring during warm-ups during class.
Karatequeen Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Hi Dave.I would suggest practicing everday.Stretchs, kicks etc.It will help you get used to it better.Even if its just for 10 minutes a day,it all helps.I do about 80 - 90 sit ups,40 - 50 push ups,and stretchs everyday so that I can be better at the classes. You'll be fine. Owner of 3 dogs,2 mice, and 2 rabbits.Soon to be owner of chickens
