quinteros1963
At the elementary school we use:whiteGoldYellow/Orange (half rank)OrangeGreenBluePurpleBrown 1,2,3BlackThe highest student I have is orange belt. The club where I train is the same but there are half ranks used for young children (for motivational purposes). The past is no more; the future is yet to come. Nothing exist except for the here and now. Our grand business is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but to do what's clearly is clearly at hand...Lets continue to train! Nidan Melbourne
No stripes to indicate dan levels because no one really cared. same at my dojo really. i asked my sensei after i got my dan gradings whether i should put them on my belt or not, and he just went "up to you really" but we have a handful of dan grades (all 1st or 2nd dan) and none of us have them on.
