quinteros1963 Posted December 25, 2013 Author Posted December 25, 2013 At the elementary school we use:whiteGoldYellow/Orange (half rank)OrangeGreenBluePurpleBrown 1,2,3BlackThe highest student I have is orange belt. The club where I train is the same but there are half ranks used for young children (for motivational purposes). The past is no more; the future is yet to come. Nothing exist except for the here and now. Our grand business is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but to do what's clearly is clearly at hand...Lets continue to train!

Nidan Melbourne Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 No stripes to indicate dan levels because no one really cared. same at my dojo really. i asked my sensei after i got my dan gradings whether i should put them on my belt or not, and he just went "up to you really" but we have a handful of dan grades (all 1st or 2nd dan) and none of us have them on.
