tallgeese Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Not sure what one is. Maybe a description or link? http://alphajiujitsu.com/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJhRVuwbm__LwXPvFMReMww
Traymond Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 Here is a youtube link for hindu push ups To fear death is to limit life - Xin Sarith Azuma Phan Wuku
FitOrDie Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 I do them occasionally, but never really fell in love with them. The perfect push-up is a huge waste of money, I say... you can get a great push-up with this thing called the floor. If no floors are available, the ground will do. Save your 30 bucks. Increase work capacity over broad time and modal domains. Intensity is key.Victory is reserved for those willing to pay its price.-Sun Tzu
Traymond Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 Haha thats basically all I needed to hear, I was extremely reluctant to buy them and glad that I dint really do it.I prefer diamond push up and knuckle pushups, but knuckle push ups I dont really feel anything in my chest like normal flat handed ones. bushido_man96 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 What makes the Hindu push-up better than the regular push-up?The perfect push-up is a huge waste of money, I say... you can get a great push-up with this thing called the floor. If no floors are available, the ground will do. Save your 30 bucks. If you're really into tough stuff, you can do knuckle push-ups on the floor where you twist the wrists at the end, like the perfect push-up does. If you really want that twist.... https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Traymond Posted January 28, 2009 Author Posted January 28, 2009 When I do hindu pushups it feels like its working my abs aswell....? To fear death is to limit life - Xin Sarith Azuma Phan Wuku
FitOrDie Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 All sorts of pushups use your abs and hip flexors because you hold yourself in a plank position with those muscles. Also, diamond pushups are terrible on your shoulders, I recommend against them. Increase work capacity over broad time and modal domains. Intensity is key.Victory is reserved for those willing to pay its price.-Sun Tzu
Traymond Posted January 28, 2009 Author Posted January 28, 2009 What about clapping push ups...some people say they are bad for your shoulders as well and some say they are good...which one is it...lol? To fear death is to limit life - Xin Sarith Azuma Phan Wuku
FitOrDie Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 So long as you are not pushing from a position where your elbows are awkwardly turned out and your hands in close (ala diamond pushups) you're good to go. Clapping pushups are fantastic, I highly recommend them. Increase work capacity over broad time and modal domains. Intensity is key.Victory is reserved for those willing to pay its price.-Sun Tzu
