New to the site

Hello! My name is Erin. I'm 28, and live in Virginia. I currently train in Shorin-Ryu Karate, along with my 5 year old daughter. I have been in for almost a year, and am currently an orange belt. I have quickly learned that I have barely scratched the surface on all things karate and martial arts. I have also JUST begun weapons training in Yamashita/Matayoshi Kobudo.

ALSO, I found out that thanks to my husband's career in the Navy, we'll be relocating BACK to Japan. What a place to train, no? So I am actively searching for a Sensei and dojo in Northern Japan.

Greetings! Good to have you on the forum. Who is your current Sensei if you don't mind me asking? Keep in mind that it will be hard to continue Yamashita Shorin-Ryu in northern Japan, Shorinkan Shorin-Ryu is the closest style to his, since he once studied it. Best of luck on the move.
