Club Swinging

Recommended Posts

There is an ancient art of club swinging develiped centuries ago by Indian warriors that enhances shoulder girdle speed, flexibility, and mobility.

I found this article pretty interesting and was wondering if anyone else here ever heard of this "art"...

Club swinging was rediscovered several years ago at Northern Illinois University near Chicago. Last year it was introduced into the Cho Kwang Do martial arts system based in Atlanta and the U.S. Army off-duty education fitness leadership program at Fort Benning, Georgia.

The one weapon that really shocked me a few years back was the ore. I never knew that was one of the traditional weapons. I saw a guy do a kata. I thought he was just messin arround. When I talked to him he explaind how it was one of the original weapons after teh weapon ban in Japan.

(General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
