Brave Dave Posted June 23, 2002 Posted June 23, 2002 Hi, I have redone my web site about my trip to the Lanna Muay Thai Boxing Camp in Chiang Mai, Thailand and was wondering if anyone wanted to see it. Its got over 150 photos, 50 video clips and loads and loads of info. I don't know how many Thai boxers there are in this forum but I think most martial artists would find it interesting, especially the video clips from some of the fights I saw over there. Peace http://www.theapproachingstorm.com/thailand/mainmenu.htm Muay Thai: A damn tough martial art. Maybe not the hardest in the whole world (it lacks ground work) but as a practical form of fighting it is right up there with the toughest... That's what I think anyway https://www.theapproachingstorm.com/thailand/mainmenu.htm
Jack Posted June 23, 2002 Posted June 23, 2002 Very interesting read, thank you! The training those guys go through is really inspirational. JackCurrently 'off' from formal MA trainingKarateForums.com

-- Posted June 23, 2002 Posted June 23, 2002 Great site, very inspirational. Almost makes me want to start Muay Thai myself, but then I remember this: http://www.minandjen.com/Lounge/lounge.htm (click on Kickboxing Accident) Anyway, Muay Thai's a great art. Sweat is the fountain of youth! d-----
Brave Dave Posted June 23, 2002 Author Posted June 23, 2002 Holy ****, that video clip is SICK. Remember to drink your milk guys. Ohhh man, now I can't get that image out my head. That is horrible. Errrrgh, right, as of today I quit Muay Thai completely and will take up smoking instead. Muay Thai: A damn tough martial art. -- Posted June 23, 2002 Posted June 23, 2002 Heh heh heh. I've got another clip where a Karateka kicks someone in the chest, and the ribs cave in. The guy's foot sinks straight into his chest, and blood just sorta blasts out of his mouth, nose, and ears like a water fountain. It's in a video I have, Power of Budo or something. If you thought this was sick, you ain't seen nothin' yet My sensei's motto: Anything that doesn't kill you will make you stronger! d-----
