Okay, here you can post your favorite Martial arts moment, whether you met a celeb in the MAs world, fought a celeb, a certain promotion of you or a student, you or one of your students winning an award, being told what an influence you were on someone's life, a test, etc, etc.

As of now, mine's a toss up between a few things but what's your favorite moment in your MAs career?

:)

"Smile. Show everyone that today you're stronger than you were yesterday."

That's always a good one for everyone, especially if you have a little extra motivation... :D

There are a couple of competitive wins that stand out. Won my weight class in the Indanapolis Summer Slam a few years back, and a regional title a few year before that (and by few, a mean plenty :) )

But the stand out moment was definalty the first black belt test.

Working out with Steve Muhammed (Sanders) in Ohio. The man is amazing. If you don't know who he is, he's the guy that Jim Kelly shook hands with in the beginning of the Bruce Lee Movie, Enter the Dragon. He's also known to be a very good fighter. If you see any of Wesley Snipes pictures where he's being escorted by an older dark gentleman with no hair, that's Sijo Steve. Sijo works as a body guard for many stars and politicians.

Couple of ones I suppose:

- passing my 1st Dan

- the Welsh Opens earlier this year. I was in the final for under 18s 2nd Dan forms when my opponent forgot her pattern. We were the only ring going so I have the entire crowd watching, was so scary. Afterwards one of the ITF England coaches approached my Dad and invited myself and my sister to attend squad training...

- then seeing my sister perform centre ring at the Euros

And Gene Lebell complementing me on my grappling and he awarded me with a metal at a tournament a few years ago.
