masterintraining
yesterday in class i got into a argument with sum kids in my class who clammed that chuck norris could beat bruce lee if he wanted to. when i did not agree and argued that Bruce lee trained chuck norris in the first place they tried to say that his right leg was so strong that when they fought he did not use it because he did not want to kill him. not to mention i have never seen this fight that they had besides in what i sawin return of the dragon, has anyone here ever see this fight between them? cus last time i checked chuck could not beet Bruce lee in his wildest dreams. you must learn different combinations of techniques down to your very soul and they must come without thinking when you finish with one technique, you must immediately go into another until you have attained your goal which is to destroy the enemy. masterintraining
The fight was in a movie. No use comparing them.i no but they claim Bruce and Chuck fought before Lee died and Chuck won,and/or did not want to use is right leg cus he felt hed kill lee.i never understood why sum1 would ever train under sum1 for years if they thought they could beet them, i would not. so i cant believe that chuck has ever beaten his old master, but maybe im wrong you must learn different combinations of techniques down to your very soul and they must come without thinking when you finish with one technique, you must immediately go into another until you have attained your goal which is to destroy the enemy. It just didn't happen. Additionally, Chuck Norris did not train "under" Bruce Lee. They simply trained together from 1970 until Lee's death. The difference is that one means that Lee, taught, promoted and developed Chuck. The reality is that ideas were shared between the two. Both Lee and Norris developed their own systems based on what they thought was the most effective for them. That said, Norris himself was quoted as saying he thought Lee was the superior martial artist. Out of curiosity, why does it bother you so much? Bruce Lee is dead and Chuck Norris is nearly 70 years old. Your friends are probably just saying it because they know it gets you worked up. dineshm
You'll be surprised how many people 'train under people that they can beat".You can learn from anyone, even those you 'think you can beat'.

I am not sure why this misconception exists. Joe Lewis also trained with Bruce. As did many other stylists. It should be kept in mind that Bruce Lee benefited from training with these other stylists just as much as they benefited from training with Bruce. Bruce learned quite a bit about high kicks from Chuck, if I recall correctly.Besides that, who is to say that Chuch couldn't give Bruce a run for his money, if they did fight? Bruce was human, after all. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

I imagine that the two sparred a little when they worked out together.
