bushido_man96
Way before your time Bushido thats for sure...I am think it was way before anyone's time. As long as there has been fighting, there has been fighting styles. As long as there has been fighting, I think you could say that most fighting has been involved with politcal reasons. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
troy
Ryuei-ryu is a very interesting style, but I have always been doubtful about its history. It is very hard to shift through what is true and what is fiction in any Okinawan karate style, but it seems more difficult with Ryuei-ryu. Aside from Sakumoto and his students, I have never seen any other Ryuei-ryu teachers demonstrate their kata or technique anywhere period. There are quite a few common kata between Goju-ryu and Ryuei-ryu. This is often attributed to the two styles potentially having the same teacher in China, Ru Ru Ko. That Ohan kata that I saw online I know for certain is a made up version. troy
I was told Mr.Campbell teaches Ryuei Ryu privately in The U.S.A. He could shed alot of light on this subject if I can reach out to him.. Found a great kata by him at this site http://youtube.com/watch?v=H9UrMOPVHW4
