I would like to do more training at home, but since I'm definitely not the most motivated person in the world, I don't want my parents to spend large amounts of money on training equipment that I may or may not use. So, I was wondering if there was anyway I could make my own training equipment with what I had around our house, or if I could buy some cheap alternatives.

I have done this in the past usually involved hanging something from a string

The first thing i made was a paper target which i used to fire straight punches at to develop speed.

Second thing was a ball of the string which is good for target practice this one was also very fun and you can play with more than one person punching and kicking the ball trying to hit the other person.

The key to everything is continuity achieved by discipline.

What type of paper did you use?

Just a sheet of A4 paper medium grade it needs to be secured with strong tape to the string bruce lee recommends this in one of his books.
