Mizu_Gami Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 So, the other thread inspired me to meet Isshin-Ryu Practioners. So who else here studies Isshin-Ryu? I am pretty much brand new to it but I love it so far. And I hope to meet some people that also practice Isshin-ryu. And I am new to the forums as well so hello there!
KNOCKuOUT Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 I don't study isshin-ryu but welcome to the forums!

(https://www.capefearisshinryu.com)Nice to meet you.Quality job Holland,You managed to welcome a new board member by telling us all when you started karate, that you will be a 4th dan in feburary, that you run your own school and plugged your web site to boot. All in a couple of sentences, are you a salesman by any chance?? Please don’t take offence, I am a great admirer of Isshin ryu , I am just tickling you. Holland Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Well, I could have posted each tidbit in seperate threads, but I thought I would practice efficiency. The part about my test was probably not necessary...the website plug was though, as if anyone comes to this part of the state I want them to know we are here and to come by and say hello.I worked at Sears for 7 years selling T.V's. Now I am a high school P.E. Teacher...guess old habits die hard.No worries, I am not too easy to offend.
Zanshin Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Hi Holland,I am glad to hear that.Had a look at your website actually. You have some great photos on there. You obviously have a good photographer amongst your ranks.Lovely community feel to your Dojo which I think is very important.
