Has anyone tried the Strength Training Gyro Exerciser? Is is some kind of gadget. It is in the shape of a ball, you put this pull cord in it, pull it out to make it start the inside moving, and then you hold it, and it supposed to help your grip get stronger. Ok it sounds to good to be true, but just wondering. Thanks.

the motion of these it what helps the grip... it is really awkward feeling. They are cool, but you can improve your grip without spending money on these.

One that I liked was holding to barbell plates together for a specified period of time. He also had an exercise where he drilled a hole in a baseball, put string through it, and hung a weight on the end, and would hold and swing it.

:o That sounds like an accident waiting to happen! You better have a strong string!

If you think only of hitting, springing, striking or touching the enemy, you will not be able actually to cut him. You must thoroughly research this. - Musashi

You don't swing it violently. It is more of a swaying motion, back and forth at 45 degrees each way. Sorry, I should have clarified that better.
