dano Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Shotokan-kez, making small gains in weight is a positive sign. The little guy needs to keep it up. I'm pulling for him. If you or your family are researching other medical facilities to help your nephew, there are two outstanding cardiac places in the US, Boston Children's Hospital and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (aka CHOP). I don't know if that is realistic to get to the US, but those are some incredible medical care places who handle international patients. I wish you all well.

Shotokan-kez Posted November 6, 2007 Author Posted November 6, 2007 Thanks dete. He's actually doing very well. He's putting weight on gradually and he is playing and smiling. He is still very small for his age so at nearly one year he still cant sit up or crawl so he has to have physio. His heart hasn't improved but hasnt got worse either and the doctors are very pleased at the way he is coping with it, so thats all good signs! Walk away and your always a winner. https://www.shikata-shotokan.co.uk
