I have just bought a book on plyometric exercises and I wondered if weights would help the strengh side of martial arts or should I do strengh exercises with my own weight e.g. push ups, chin ups, sit ups. Which is the best for martial arts. Mind you all the special forces of the world such as the SAS, US Navy Seal's don't train with weights and their really hard! :bigwink:

Like I tell my football players and guys we are trying to talk into comming out. Lift weights it will help you in anything you do.
