cnada Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 No, seriously, what is it? I ask this because I have NO idea whatsoever! One of the black belts in my class mentioned it to me, and I'd like to know more about it.Explain in terms a 9 year old could understand-- my brain's still sort of fried from studying for my exams! If you're not laughin', you're not livin'!--Carlos Mencia
DancingSteve Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 A workout for your core.Your abdomen and stomach muscles. I come to you with only karate. My hands are empty, but I fear no man.
bushido_man96 Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Yes, abdomen, back (lower), hip extensors, etc. Even into the lower legs. You could probably even include shoulders into the mix.Push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, knee raises, abdominal twists, back hyperextensions are all good ways to build your core. Pilates and Yoga would be great as well. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
