I started Tang Soo Do and Jujitsu at 13.There is really no "too late" but late childhood and early adolescence is a better time to start due to physical and neurological development. frightmaster
I started Tae Kwon Do at 34. I just received my 1 Dan this year at 39. Anything is possible. February 24, 2007 I received my Black Belt in WTF TKD.
bushido_man96
I agree. It is never too late. You will do fine. I first took up Hapkido at the age of 26, I think, or 27. Can you tell me what "freestyle" Hapkido is? I had not heard of it before. IcemanSK
Any age is great to start. I was 14 when I started TKD. I'm 39 now & still love it. There's a lady in my organization who is 78. She just tested for her 3rd Dan last yea! She runs her own school! Never too late. Being a good fighter is One thing. Being a good person is Everything.
