bushido_man96
However, when I put on the gi, it's kind of like a subtle reminder that I'm here to train, and train hard.I agree. It kind of gets you into that training zone. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
savedbygrace
We are required to wear a gi top and pants and thats what I wear but if I could decide I would wear shorts and a t-shirt. I dont mean that disrespectful, but I have an short odd shaped body.... My butt and thighs are kinda big so my gi pants fit me very snug (even the large sizes) and its very hard to kick effectively due to the restriction they give me, but I manage to do ok....but if I did have my choice I would LOVE to train in a pair of under armor shorts, I feel like I get so much more range of motion in them, but its probably just a mind thing.. Athena
do not know what a dobok is..but i would just love my very own gi I make sure to bring clothes that i can move good in to gymmost of my clothes are good for movement *shrugs* even my tightest pair of jeans isn't so stiff that i can't do a kick in them XDthough i do have some pants that are quite loosei don't oftne wear skirts or dresses but there are occasions. I've trained a couple times in them Strike first. 'Til then i will not fight you. Everytime someone calls JKD a style, Bruce turns over. Why do I love Bruce Lee? Not because he was an awesome martial artist- but because his train of thought overlapped with mine even before I knew about him. Thank you karate forums, for introducing me to Bruce Lee

marie curie
I chose other. Because I think it's good to wear a large variety of clothes. Agreed! I prefer to train more traditional stuff in a gi, more practical stuff in jeans and shoes, and when it's hot I'd rather wear shorts and a t-shirt You suck-train harder.......................Don't block with your faceA good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving. -Lao Tzu
greenbelt_girl15
I prefer to wear a gi while I train. It's easy to move around in and it gives me a feeling of unity with other cuong nhu'ers. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of love, a spirit of power, and of self-discipline.2 Timothy 1:
