I stay within my normal "routine." I try not to vary things up too much. I seem to have better results if I stick to the same patern that got me there.

in spareing with out erm yeah. i found myself easily distracted yes more agressive but instead of watching my oppentents compete i'd be looking into the stands looking at the other sex.

Well for the men ya lose as many nutrients (per shot) as;

8oz beef steak

4 oranges

3 limes

...plus your body puts out a the sedation chem (cant remeber the name off hand). the only thing I notice is a lil extra mental clairity but I abstain till after a class, test, or workout jus because anyway...eat a bigger breakfast and be patient. lol!

ok, so the nutrients that you loose are really negligible. It's been proven to not affect performance.

also, the chem's released have as many negative as positive effects, trade raw aggression for mental clarity and focus... but to be honest that stuff lasts like 20-90 mins, (I'll try to find a reference link later when I have more time) so just don't do it like an hour before competing and you should be fine :)

**edit** this is not from personal experience or anything, its from reading published scientific research and from studying physiology.. again I'll find a link when I have some time to search

Maby not on a woman, but being a man I can tell you fer sure it does make a difference. I believe the chem is serotonin, which is why some men doze off after sex.
