Dim-Mak

Recommended Posts

There is a man considered to be one of the most informed on the subject and has spent years developing his knowledge of preasure points.

His name is 'George Dillman'. He has studied many styles to be at the point (no pun intended) where he is now.

At a test he had medical staff hook up a student to neurological machines to test brain activity, whilst using pressure point moves. At the point of knockout brain activity was noted which resulted in knockouts.

Here is his web address

Am i being dumb? What is this exactly? :-? I gather its about certain moves that can kill people?

Dim Mak translates to "Death Touch," or some equivalent. It is basically the idea that with intense training and focus, one can learn to channel his ki into a strike on a certain point of the body, that will cause death, in a nutshell.

Look up George Dillman, and you should find a lot on the subject.

Thanks brian, i will look into it!

What was more interesting was that he was only able to make such knockout touches work against his own students and was unable to duplicate the effects on other people- even when they stood still and allowed him to do it.

Without trying to start a war, I have to ask- do you seriously support George Dillman or regard him as being a legitimate instructor in any way shape or form?

In my post you see i have worded ''Considered to be one of the most informed'' on this subject.

I am neither going to slander or endorse this mans work as i do not know his findings or work on a personal level.

I was inputting what i have read in books and he seemed to be the man , who has worked in this field for years. Apart from that i am not affiliated in any way to Mr Dillmans work.

Whilst on the subject are his idea's not too dissimilar to sensie ueshibas work when he founded Aikido. The energy of chi? I may be off the point here but this is an interesting thread and i hope it gets more replies.

Ok I see-you were just being the neutral guy in the conversation.

To show you a few things that Dillman does, heres a link to a video where one of his students (multiple degree black belt or whatever) is checked out by Fox news in Chicago about his "death touch"

This second one is even more atrocious in my opinion:

Listen to Dillmans explanation at the end. If he truely believed that what he was teaching was legit, I think a more forwarded response as to why his no touch KO didnt work would be "I dont know." Instead, he creates this ridiculous explaination in a (poor) attempt to save face.

Hopefully now you'll understand why I dislike him so much.

I see what you mean ninjer. There is a hypnotist called 'Paul Mc'enna who does similair things like this. Would anyone agree that it could be another form of hypnotism, or mind suggestion?

The point that got me was the 'toe up-toe down' remark.

I'm not going to get into whether I believe dim-mak is real or whether Dillman is authentic in his Chi powers, but I do want to simply ask this:

I have never seen any dim-mak/Chi attacks made against targets that were not just simply standing there waiting to be hit. Are there any videos out there that show dim-mak/chi attacks being applied against an attacker coming in at full speed?
