bushido_man96 Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Fake a high round kick, and pull it back, and side kick to the ribs. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Menjo Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Agaisnt people who prefer speed over power, I sometimes use:feint, front leg to kick or sweep, arms up and use jab, follwed by hand thrusting techniques.Normally the reaction is for the other person to end up using defenses that leave them standing still, as the speedy person will probably stand for the leg, and end up caught by the hands.Of course for point sparring it may not be entirely useful since driving in like that is bound to give some umimportant openings. Also probably not the best agaisnt opponents with long reach. poisendhearts Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 fake front kick into a roundhouse, and when your about a foot away from contact, spin to where you can hit the side of their head with the blade of your foot my personal favorite ~josh
mantis.style Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 I don't actively feint movements. Instead, I try to make everything hit and if something stops it from hitting, that's when it changes. Part of wing chun's core philosophies is that everything is change-able on the fly. traditional chinese saying:speak much, wrong much
