bushido_man96 Posted August 11, 2008 Author Posted August 11, 2008 Bushido-glad to hear I'm not hte only one who stops to play on the monkey bars. I sometimes think I have more fun on them than my kid does when we hit the park.Yeah, I just feel a bit goofy when other adults start showing up..... https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

Warmed up with mitts, then did heavy bag low kicks, 10 each of front leg and back leg front and side kicks, and 10 each leg of back kicks. On the breakaways, we spent some time working on sweeping and takedowns. We figured we could do a reap, or a round kick to the back of the legs to facilitate takedowns. It was a good session. After getting through all of the yellow belt curriculum, he was my uke for my red belt stuff. I still need some work on the red belt curriculum. Some of it is pretty frustrating for me. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

bushido_man96 Posted August 14, 2008 Author Posted August 14, 2008 8-13-08Combat Hapkido: 8:15 - 9:30. Tonight, we slowed down the red belt material a little bit, and worked on really tightening some of it up. The 4th degree that goes to our TKD classes got back into it tonight, and his input was valuable and helpful tonight. It was good to have some different viewpoints and ways of doing things. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
