Then I had him do all colored belt one-steps, and to finish class, we worked on some self-defense applications using the chamber and execution parts of the knife hand strike.Had a stretching session at home. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

bushido_man96 Posted January 15, 2021 Author Posted January 15, 2021 Well, training is done for a few weeks. I tested positive for the Covid. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

bushido_man96 Posted January 17, 2021 Author Posted January 17, 2021 Oh man! I hope you stay healthy and the COVID doesn’t keep you down. Thanks, Wamp. All in all, I've been sicker than this before. A year ago, I'd have gone to work and not batted an eye. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Wamp Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 Great to hear you not too bad off. That seems to be the case with many folks I know. But the media has its way of only reporting the bad cases.
DWx Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 Well, training is done for a few weeks. I tested positive for the Covid. That sucks. Hope you don't have too bad a time with it. Quite a few people I know have come down with it during our second wave here. "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
bushido_man96 Posted January 18, 2021 Author Posted January 18, 2021 Well, training is done for a few weeks. I tested positive for the Covid. That sucks. Hope you don't have too bad a time with it. Quite a few people I know have come down with it during our second wave here. Thanks, Danielle. It's really draining for me, especially having to miss work.I'm about 4 days in I think now. I've been feeling pretty tired and drained, and I haven't been sleeping well. But the fever hasn't persisted, and I don't have a horrible cough. I've felt much worse in the past being sick, I know that. I do think if I tried to get active, I'd really start feeling it. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

I know a fair few people who have gotten it and its affected them all different. Several really fit people I know have been hit hard and still have long-Covid symptoms months later. bushido_man96 Posted February 5, 2021 Author Posted February 5, 2021 Finally, back to class, post-covid.2/3/2021TKD Class: 6:30 - 7:30 pm. T-shirt class. Did some bag work, comprising mostly of basic kicks (front and back leg), spin kicks, and hand techniques. Toward the end of the class, the CI wanted to work on something he referred to as Ho Sin Sul sparring, which was a very controlled, randomized flow drill, I guess, working to locks or finishes. It's something we are going to work on and try to refine moving forward, to work into our black belt classes.2/4/2021TKD Testing: 6:00 - 7:30. We had 5 testing, one for recommended black belt rank, and one testing for 1st degree rank. Overall, there were some things that I was a little disappointed with this testing. I don't want to use Covid and the like as an excuse, but it has affected some of the student's attendance, which was apparent. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
