5 pm - Chest/Biceps workout:

5 sets of bench press/5 sets of seated dumbbell curls,

5 sets of cable crossovers/5 sets of standing dumbbell curls,

2 sets of incline dumbbell presses/2 sets of barbell curls

7 pm - Stretching, Kata Work, Sparring

Weapon Rentention seminar: 8:00 - 5:00. This was a great class. Lots of little nuances involved with an LEO having to be verbal during altercations. Good seminar.

Ground Fighting Defense seminar: 8:00 - 4:00. Another great training seminar. I really enjoyed it, and learned a lot about some ground fighting. This was my first experience with ground fighting since Wrestling in the 8th grade. I loved every minute of it.

I went ahead and worked out this morning..

Biceps- warm up 35 lb. curl

barbell curl- 100x10 90x8 85x8

Dumbell curl - 45x8 40x8 40x8

shrugs- 300x8

Chest/triceps

Bench press: 155x10, 185x8, 205x3

Dip machine: 215x10, 8, 8

Seated triceps push-down: 90x10, 120x10, 135x8 This was a different lift, and I can do higher weight.

Biceps

Barbell curls: 70x10, 80x8, 90x4

Abs

Hanging leg raises: 2x10

Hanging knee pulses: 3x10

Cardio: Spinner for 10 minutes. Not much, but got the blood flowing.

Combat Hapkido: 11:00 - 12:00. Went over Purple Belt curriculum. Took some notes, and learned a few different things. Very useful stuff, when you break away from the rote curriculum, and begin to apply the stuff in different ways.

TKD Class: 6:00 - 7:00. Taught class tonight. I had a good time with the class as well. I don't get to teach the adults all that often, and the 4th dan Jr. Master allowed me the opportunity to keep teaching after he showed up. I was greatful for that.
