A few of us went through the 7 tests of true strength:

Aced all except the deadlift.

Got creative with the jumping and went out to do max height and distance standing, i.e.: no run up or preload to standing still position with full balance, jumps (47inch/1.2m max today, finding it easy to pull 40inches/1m without hassle).

-1hr kyokushin class (afternoon).

-Leg conditioning with partner (10min).

-Leg evasion (low kicks) and counter gedan mawashi (10 min).

-Escrima partnered work - double stick, single stick to locks and chokes (20min).

-Heavy bagwork (10min).

-1hr kyokushin class (evening).

Marathon testing for Groinstrike's black belt. Got to do lots of stuff from various sparring and rolling to weapons work.

Day 2 of CT at the dept. Today was knife work and police ground work.

pm:

Drilled hip bump sweep, flower sweep. Rounds of live roll, guard sweep vs. pass.

25 min free roll.

10 min free roll with strikes.
