Endurance circuits:

- Chinups, 2x sets (10/7).

- Mae Keage 20reps.

- Jog, 2min.

- Kin Geri 50reps

- Mae Geri 50reps.

- Jog, 2min.

- Hiza Ganmen Geri 50reps.

- Combination (Inside thigh, front hand, rear hand, outside thigh) 20reps.

- Chudan Mawashi Geri 30reps.

- Jog, 2min.

- Chinups 10reps.

- Active leg stretches.

-2x 2min rounds heavy bag full intensity.

Drilled a weeks review of material. Passing De La Riva, short arc arm bar, passing butterfly guard.

Spent open mat time drilling this and cleaning up some things I'd struggled with on open mat this week. Americana from side to arm bar, the above new material, and a triangle from back that's new to me.

15 min free roll.

TKD with Kendall: did a half hour of work. Did single, double, and triple punching in a sitting stance, then moved into a front stance for down blocks, and stepping punches. After that, we did some focus mitt work: jab, cross, jab/cross, jab/cross/BL round kick. Then we had to take some time to try to fix his left leg round kick. Not so coordinated on that side. A good mix of basics and combinations work, I think.

-60min Kyokushin Class (afternoon).

-Kata, Pinan Yon, Yantsu.

-Static and active stretching, 15min.

-120min Kyokushin class (evening), also ran overtime, so got an extra 20min or so in!

-Practiced a few aerial kicks after class, mainly 360 uch and ushiro.

TKD with Kendall

Basics: sitting stance, single, double, triple punches. front stance and down blocks, then walking in front stance and lunge punching. Trying to get him not to over reach here.

Focus mitts: jab, cross (put him against a wall to do the cross, and keep him from flaring his elbow out), jab/cross, jab/cross/BL round kick, BL front kick/BL round kick (alternate legs, advancing).

Taught TKD: 6-7 pm. Got through all the new forms, and most of the one-steps. Didn't spar, but did 1-technique, 2-technique, and 3-technique drills back and forth, kicks only.
