In TKD class:

3x3:00 of jump rope.

20 minutes of muay thai 4 counts.

20 minutes of ladders doing right round, cross, hook, switch left kick, cross, hook. Started with ten kicks(5 each side) then switched pads. Add one kick each time. Made it to 19 because he added in burpees after every 2 kicks( I did a sprawl).

TKD instructor is also a muay Thai instructor through a mutual old instructor in this area. Nice to have that skillset available.

Sounds like a fun class, JCavin. I probably would have puked after the burpees.

Tallgeese, sorry about the shoulder. Mine still hurts from surgery.

2/2 2.25 mile run just before the snow. Push ups 5x25, Sit ups 2x3min

2/3 2.25 mile run, full stretch, Naihanchi run with intent for 15 min.

2/5 2.25 mile run push ups 4x25

2/7 2.25 mile run, 12x2:00 heavy bag work, kick focus on switch kicks & Thai style round kick

2/8/2013

Worked Wrestling with Kendall for 10 minutes. From referee's position, worked on t-out, hooking arm and riding ankle to inside cradle. Stance work and take downs as well.

2/10/2013

Sit-ups: 3x10

4-direction kick: worked a few variations, seeing what flows. Did 4 sets, using fighting stance/guarding blocks, and front kicks.

Shoulder Rehab.

Drilled moving into triangle via two set ups. then hitting all the specifics of the triangle proper.

30 min free roll. Worked on north/south gi choke with coach.

12 Feb 2013.

-Chin ups, 3x sets until exhaustion. 10/7/4.

-Stretching (10min).

-Full contact sparring (15min).

13 Feb 2013.

-2hr Kyokushin class (afternoon).

-Circuit training (flipping heavy bag up and down the dojo, combinations).

-Drilled takedowns, combinations - G&P from mount, Side control for knees and elbows, transition to arm bar.

-2hr Kyokushin class (evening).
