Cardio

Treadmill: 2 min walk warmup, 20 min jog, .84 miles total distance.

Rowing: 5 minutes.

Stretch.

X-stepping around BOB, no techniques for a few minutes: x2

1st part of X to shuffle side kick: 10 each side, x2

1st part of X to shuffle hook kick: 10 each side, x2

1st part of X to reverse side kick: 10 each side, x2

Cardio was a killer today. I just didn't feel like I had any energy.

3 hour seminar from Roy Harris today on leg attacks and controlling postures while working leg attacks. Absolutely amazing! If you ever get a chance to train with Prof. Harris I strongly urge you to take it.

-120min Kyokushin class, cardio and kicking focus.

-Short abs routine.

20 Nov 2012

-Stretching warmup.

-Kihon, punches ad blocks (10min) and exersizes to exhaust arms (5min).

-Pushups with exhausted arms (3x sets 30 on fingertips, palms, fingertips).

-Abs work with weights.

-Kicking drills (knees, groin kicks, front kicks -10min).

-Partner kick shield work. Mawashi Geri (200 total each leg), Punching combos with sabaki (10min).

-Body conditioning with partner (body punches with sabaki - 10min).

-Blocking work with partner (5min).

-Free sparring (25min).

-Triangle pushups (10) followed by wide arm on palms (20).

-Chin ups to exhaustion.

-Stretch down.

Early AM walk-thru of ATA and TTA 9th gup and 8th gup material. Songham 1, Chon Ji hyung, 3 ATA one-steps and 7 TTA one-steps. Songham 2, Dan Gun hyung, 3 ATA one-steps and 4 TTA one-steps.
