That sounds like a cool deal. My DT partner and I would watch the Combat Hapkido videos, and then train back and forth for reps and discuss how we liked or didn't like the techniques. With experienced and dependable partners and some MA experience to go with it, video learning can be possible.

Back to the gym today, even if it is only for cardio...

Upper body cycle for 6 minutes; 3 forward and 3 backward.

Treadmill for 20 minutes, walking/jogging (with more walking than jogging). Covered 1.2 miles.

1 mile on bike to cool off.

Stretch.

Drilled straight ankle lock, toe hold.

45 min free roll. A few rounds with a couple of the fighters. Got some time working last weeks chokes and tonight's leg work.

Drilled ankle lock variants and knee bar.

30 min free roll.

30 min work on guard with fighters

15 min cool down drilling ankle lock and toe hold.

Cardio at the gym. I hate cardio....

Upper body cycle - 6 minutes; 3 forward, 3 backward.

Treadmill - walk/jog for 30 minutes, covered 1.75 miles.

Bike - cool down for a mile.

Light stretch.

Drilled straight ankle lock, standing to ground. Covered toe hold from ground and then from a guard pass.

40 min free roll. Focused on getting leg attacks into the roll. Worked with one of the fighters.
