-Abs workout.

-Kettlebell (25kg) routine.

Taught control tactics for an 8 hour block today. Managed a few reps myself. Mainly combination striking to tie up, spear.

BJJ nite:

Drilled double under guard pass variant. Moved on to cross side control, americana specifics and then transition to mount.

2, 4 min rounds of side v. escape.

50 min free roll.

40 minute circuit training

Ground and pound for 5 rounds, got caught in a guillotine(D'OH).

The next round got the mount and grinded opponent for 3 minutes.(Revenge)

We discovered a re-breakable board in the locker. This lead to me rambling about Chi and putting my head through it.

Squats: 45x5, 135x5, 225x3, 245x2; work: 290x3x5

Overhead press: 45x5, 95x5, 100x3, 115x2; work: 125x3x5

Incline bench press: 45x5, 95x5, 105x3, 115x2; work: 125x3x5

Front squat: 125x3x5

Stretch: standing/kneeling quads, front/twist/side kick bar stretch, toe touches, chest/tris/bis.

Since my squat weight is getting closer to 300 lbs, my form is starting to flush again. I've been working on getting the good mornings out of my squat, but it just won't go away. OHP form is coming along very nicely, though. Watching my technique on my phone is really good for evaluation.

Glute-ham raises: 3x5

Seated good-mornings: 130x3x12

Stretch: standing/kneeling quads, front/twist/side kick bar stretch, toe touches, chest/tris/bis.

More good mornings on the squats. Felt like I really broke through on bench, though. We'll see how next Monday goes.

8 more hours coaching control tactics. Focused on baton, weapon retention and disarming and moved into ground avoidance and then takedown.
