- Kobudo, Bo staff with partner.

-120min Kyokushin class.

12 Jan 2012.

-Worked on my Thesis (Chemistry)...... Hey, the brain needs a workout too!!

13 Jan 2012.

-90min Kyokushin class.

14 Jan 2012.

-P90X Cardio Routine.

-Punch/Kick combinations (Kickboxing) on Heavy Bag (16oz gloves), approx 10 min.

-Resistance bands training, medium resistance:

-Punching for speed (jab, both hands) 50 reps.

-Mae Geri (front kick) 50 reps.

-Abs.

-Abs workout from latest issue Mens Health magazine :)

-Plank

-Stepups with 12.5kg dumbell

-Mountain climber

-Bent-over Y-raise with 12.5kg dumbell

-Goblet squats with 12.5kg dumbell.

-Seipai through twice. Gekisai Dai and Sho through twice each.

-Kobudo, solo Bo kata and applications with partner.

It's Saturday. No one wants to do technique on a Sat. Now that this is done, I need to get my fajitas ready for the UFC get together dinner tonight. Gonna be tough to watch the diet.

Jose Aldo is fighting, as a Nova Uniao guy, I think I'm contractually obligated to get the fight. :lol:

BJJ class 90 minutes.

- warm up slow roll

- 45 minute full mount start to a point roll

- free roll

(Late on tapping so need to be careful with my shoulder for few days.)

Squat parallel. 60kgx10, 70kgx6, 80kgx4, 70kgx6, 60kgx8.

Single leg squat 50kgx10, 60kgx6, 60kgx4, 60kgx6, 60kgx8 (sledge

Last three sets:

Hip abductors 80x10x3

Hamstrings 50x10x3

Leg extention70x10x3

Three sets are done rotating with out breaks

Stretch: standing/kneeling quads, front/twist/side kick bar stretches, toe touches, chest/tris/bis.

The Aikido club I was attending several months back has just opened up a dojo off-campus, and are now offering more class times, along with some different philosophical and meditation offerings. I attended the demo they had on 1/15 to watch and check things out. They had a good turnout of students, and the demo was fun to watch. I hope the school pans out for him, and I hope to find some time to get in there.
