1 3minute round of Muay Thai vs my Dance of the Drunken Mantis(Bill Fu)

I would have liked to see that one.

all katas

Are these just your Isshinryu katas, or all katas your learned through other training, too? Do you ever still practice your TKD forms?

Weights: Pull day:

Lat pull down: 140x10, 150x8, 160x6

Seated row (close grip): 130x10, 140x8, 150x6

Upright row: 75x10, 80x8, 85x6

Back hyperextensions: 3x15

Pre TKD class: stretched out, then worked on the section of Yoo Sin hyung with the inside crescent kick to side kick, and also on a combo from ATA Jung Yul form (2nd dan), doing back leg inner crescent kick to spin hook kick/round kick combo.

TKD class: 6:00 - 7:00. Taught class tonight, and changed up basics a bit. Did some pad and bag work on kicking, and did some combo work with the adults using target pads.

Return to the land of reality after a week and a half of diving and snorkeling in Cozumel. Aside from getting in and out of gear, about the only activity I conducted during this time was frequent walks to the buffet line and signaling for another pooliside drink.

Ok, so making weight in a couple of weeks might be tough. Ah well, middle weight it is for this one.

Back to work on the 7th.

His name was Brock, he works with Spaceman Craig. Nice kid, some ground skill. He was evenly matched rolling with Craig. The cool thing was he kicked me in the face WITH CONTROL. So I had to go all crazy Kung Fu Treachery on him. My Muay Thai sucks. You'll be happy, cause he's about 160. Said he'll be up on Wednesdays.

Free for 90 min.

Worked my inverted guard game, worked on some material we had just gone over prior to my vacation. Played with a new side mount escape I learned last week on my return which might be he slickest thing I've ever seen.
