Weights: Push day:

Bench press: 175x10, 185x8, 205x6

Incline dumbeel bench: 45x10, 50x8, 55x6

Legs:

Hip sled: 405x10, 430x8, 450x6

Angled standing leg press: 110x10, 130x8, 150x6

Abs:

Thera crunch: 25x12x3

I wasn't feeling especially good this day, and to top that off, I twinged my back on that angled standing leg press. How that can happen, I'm not sure, but I was able to find a way to do it. Now, the two days after, my back hurts, and moving is slow going. It sucks. But, I now realize how much I bend over and do things with my back. I also see now how much I could be using my legs, and working them out more just on a regular every day basis.

Drilled over high guard and top control today. Really focused on dropping the weight on cross side and knee in.

45 min free roll

Solo workout-Abs, shoulders, stretching, kicks, abs, shoulders, legs.

See you tomorrow. Some saint wrote a letter before being executed back in the day, so I had to spend the day with the woman. Those things are somehow related.

Drilled over wild set up for triangle/omo, then omo defense

6, 2 min rounds of guard v. pass

10 min round of takedown work

2 5 min rounds of free roll

Form night:

1pinan, 2 pinan, 1 kata, 2 kata, stature of the crane, and 3 pinan.

then all again in the other order....

then all of them one more time.

then find at least one defense application in 3 pinan and demonstrate it.

I love how relaxed my body feels after a night of forms training. :karate:

2/16 30 min stretching with physioball, 45 min basic grappling positions.

Front kicks, rounds kicks, side kicks on air sheilds.

Being injured is beginning to anger me!!!!!
