12, 2min rounds boxing with masterpain, got hit in the face a few to many times but did ok.

Worked basic no-gi principles with a few newbies.

bushidoman, the eyes closed thing really made you aware. It made you focus on the movements and techniques and the feel of things. It was an excellet training day. It also served to slow things down to allow for technique advancement.

Drilled guard posture, and passing. Then, sweeping with a pendulum like motion.

60 min free roll.

2/8 Getting a training partner ready for a fight on friday, worked negative grappling positions and takedown defense until i got dropped on my shoulder awkwardly and am now injured .

Worked tournament prep today. Takedown work, countering the guard jump with standing pass, worst case side escape.

Hopefully nothing serious, i think its just a bone bruise. HURTS LIKE CRAZY!!!!! Once again i am on a steady diet of ibuprofen, my liver hates me more than usual.

Light warmup -focused on streching quads and back

Practiced about an hour of both sword and bo kata, yes you heard me, kata.
