Hehe...

The Gen 4s come with changeable grips, one that is smaller that you could try. I will let you know how practice goes with them.

This week went to hell in a handbasket really quick. Only got two days of training in.

8/24/10

Weights: pull day: back, doing assisted pull-ups, seated rows, and upright rows. Also did some leg extensions and curls, and my hams are still sore from the curls. Got some jump rope in, too, doing 4 sets of 50 jumps.

Returning to class after Labor Day, so doing some review:

Thursday:

  • The three basic (white belt) forms
  • Pyung Ahn, the three forms I knew (orange and green belts)
  • Chil Sung, the two forms I knew (green belt)

Friday:

  • The twelve (really six, a left and right version for each) one-step sparring exercises I knew

Good thing I have the books and DVDs to make sure I'm remembering them correctly. Not bad after a summer hiatus; not polished, but not bad. :D

Put BOB up on the WaveMaster base as a point of reference to practice wrist grab defenses. Hard to do right when you're w/o a live partner. I used to first practice with a live partner, then "review" with BOB.

  • Cross-hand wrist seize
  • Same side wrist seize
  • Lower forearm seized by two hands
  • Both wrists seized by two hands
