Man i am getting really lazy about posting in this thread...

didn't make it to a whole lot of classes last week... but lets see...

Trained drills a lot!!! I am at a point in the curriculum where there is just all these drills! But there a new kata for me to learn coming up very soon in the curriculum...

but boy are the areas where i do most of my blocking sore!!! I gotta get a really heavy gi to wear over my arms lol...

Thanks for the advice, tallgeese. I like the combat stance, but others around me see it differently. I'll try to stick with it.

Jogged mile in 12:11, and did 1.28 miles in 15 minutes. Stretch.

Aikido: 10 am to noon. All weapons work, which was good fun. Jo and bokken forms, and jo pair work.

I've been at a school all week so it's been tough to get time. But on Monday I did manage to visit a BJJ school here in Des Moines where I'm at.

40 min free roll. Workedo n scarf series.

today-

3 mile run

Jogged mile in 10:28, with most of that time at 6 mph. Made 1.43 in 15 minutes.

TTA hi orange belt form and one-steps.

ATA yellow belt form and one-steps.

Stretch.

Back on the weights today, too. Did chest and tris, but nothing spectacular. Just trying to get back into the swing of things.

yesterday-

2 mile run am

3 mile hike pm

today-

6-7 mile day that culminated in the summit of Mt. Sporatt in BC. Yeah. I'm going for a drink now.
