I bought a DVD called THE PIT WORKOUT by John Hackleman last week and have done two of the three workouts on the DVD over the weekend. I thought jogging 3-4 miles got me to sweat but these workouts have basics moves that kick my butt!

today-

BJJ nite:

Worked triangle drills for improving the whole thing. Moved to throwing the triangle from guard. Transition from that to an armbar and then a variant. Moved the same series to a start from the 1/2 butterfly.

Last, we did the variant armbar followed by a standard armbar our of the full guard with a different approach.

Finished with 60 min of free roll.

TKD class: 6:00 - 7:30. We had 10 white belts in class tonight, most of them from the orientation of the college class, so we spent a lot of time on basics, then I stretched out. Instead of one-steps, I got to help another 3rd dan that is a bit rusty on reviewing the black belt forms. My legs were very sore from the day before working out, so class was a blast!
