TKD class: 6:00 - 7:15 pm. Taught class. I had more students today, so broke things up a bit after basics for forms. Had kids doing forms separate from adults to start out. At higher ranks, I had them out by ranks. Didn't get to review as many forms as I would have liked. Did get through one-steps, and some sparring.

1000 punches (I wish I was messing about ... we counted at the end of the night to be sure!) :-(

30 min bag work (anything goes)

30 mins sparring

Drilled top structure from guard. Went into guard breaking and pass under.

Endurance

- burpees > star jump repeat for 1 min

- push up > lift partner > burpee for 1 min

- push up > leg kicks > burpee for 1 min

- push up > punches (chudan) > squat thrust for 1 min

repeat x3

wheel barrow up and down dojo x3

gorilla crawl up and down dojo x3

drop do a push up, walk your legs up to your hands, repeat up and down dojo x3

15 mins sparring - selection of use called out to fight full power.

Drilled takedown defense from stand up.

35 min free roll

Worked 18 count stick pattern with increasing pressure from the Inasanto blend before moving into Illustrissimo work. Bdefensive patterns and footwork.

15 min sparring single stick.

12 count stick drill then into 16 count progression. Then rolled the two together. Add movement.

15 min single stick sparring.

Cool down with PTK knife patterns.

Drilled side to N/S movement. Finished with underhook attacks on either side leading to a choke.

20 min free roll.

20 May 2014.

-Light warm up, 5min.

-Heavy bagwork, 20min:

---Bareknuckle boxing combinations.

---Low/middle/high roundhouse kicks, and front kicks.

---Punch to elbows.

---Free bagworm for power and speed.

-Kata: All pinan, gekusai dai/sho, tsuki-no, sanchin, tensho, yantsu.

-Abs, 15min.

-Cool down, 5min.
