20 minutes on elliptical, doing periods of higher intensity than I am used to. 2 minutes of walking on curve treadmill, then stretch.

Been recovering for the past couple of days after the weekend and travel. Today, I eased back in.

Review of knife patterns. Disarm sequence. JKD footwork and structure focus strikes.

Drilled guard passing. Moved into passing the butterfly guard.

45 min free roll.

Review of distancing and footwork. Knife disarm and control work.

Drilled guard passing via bully pass followed by stacking double under. Higher ranks worked arm bar out of double under stack.

30 min free roll.

Did 55 minutes of basics, using almost all of the floor at our gym. Then, had a good stretch. I'm sore today, but yesterday, I felt loose and pretty good. I will do some more of this, looking into the Encyclopedia for more "fundamental exercises" to do up and down the floor to change things up a bit.

3 hour seminar covering trapping from extended, non-reference point ranges. "Functional Trapping" as it was called. Excellent time well spent that will fit really well into my response pattern.

-10min stretching warm up, dynamic and static.

-45min heavy bag work @ ~60% intensity.

-Shadow kickboxing, 10min.

-Gekusai Dai.

-Chinups to failure.

-Tsuki-no.

-Pull ups with leg lifts to failure.

-Ido geiko, moving through diff' stances with block gyaku tsuki on each step.

-Pull ups to failure.

-Drilled punching combinations for speed from moro ashi dacha, 5min.

-Shadow kickboxing, 10min.

-Dynamic leg stretching.

-Plyo including some jumping kicks and tricks (monkey swing to kick), 10min.

-Bo staff, 10min.

-Supersets:

......Hammer curls

......Flys.

-Quick abs.
