4/16 Solo night.

After seeing a hojo undo video, decided to do slow motion sinawali with 6 pound maces until my wrists refused to do more.

Then one step drills and flowing with traditional Bujin weapons: sticks, bigger sticks, a staff, pointed stick, a bottle, butcher knife, pocket knife, African bullwhip, a pencil, sheet metal workers punch tool, 3 pound dumbell, ect..

My fists bleed death. -Akuma

Drilled arm bar from guard hitting all the specific details. Moved into stacking the arm bar, then counter to the stack.

4, 2 min rounds of closed guard v. pass

45 min free roll

8 am - 9 am: Use-of-force training for the department, involving Taser and sim guns. We did hour blocks, and I ran through 3 or 4 scenarios. Weapons transitons were involved, which is quite tricky when the blood gets up. Sadly, I got to fire no sim rounds. :(

Texas Method: Recovery day

Squats: warmup: 45x5, 135x5; work: 200x2x5

Overhead press: warmup: 45x5, 95x5, 105x3; work: 115x3x5

Barbell rows: warmup: 135x5, 155x3, 175x2; work: 190x3x5

Back hyperextensions: 45x2x10, BWx3x10

Assisted chinups: 3x10
