BJJ nite:

Drilled takedown work from knees, to arm bar, followed by arm bar coutners.

4, 3 min rounds of work from knees.

45 min free roll.

am:

Training shoot. Marksmanship, combat marksmanship, scenario based training. CT in addition to shoot situations.

On a side note, I love my Kimber more and more each time I shoot it.

4/13 sluggishly went through:

25 min clinch work

20 min Muay Thai

20 min grappling

I skipped the grappling and replaced it with a cardio circuit.

Got home late today, too tired to do anything.

Did you have any particular focus on the bagwork? Hands, feet, certain combinations? Or just working the bag to work it?

I usually try to work sparring combinations. 2-3 punch combinations with follow up short range to long range kicks. Most of my bag training is knockdown-rules focused, so a lot more punching and short range kicking. If I have a kick that's a bit rusty, I make sure to work it in. Although, by round 3, it's usually hard to concentrate, because I do this at the very end of my workout.

20 minutes of fairly intense shadow boxing, 5 rounds of thai pads, 10 rounds of sparring with 2 rounds of rest, and a half hour of no-gi grappling.

Instructor development meeting for control tactics at the dpt. About an hour of good, solid LE focused ground work. Knife defense.
