Shotokan-kez Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Hey guys i just wanted to share this with everyone cos im really chuffed. I am the only adult senior grade in our dojo, apart from the sensei's wife on wednesday night. I am grading for shodan in about three months and i have been getting frustrated because there isnt any students i can properly train with, especially fighting wise.Anyway tonight after training the sensei and his wife pulled me over and asked if i would like an extra half an hour every wednesday to go through the grading up until it arrives....here's the best bit....for freeeeeee!!I am so pleased that someone has actually noticed and realised, i really needed this extra training so im very happy...just wanted to share!Kez xx Walk away and your always a winner. https://www.shikata-shotokan.co.uk

Ziyad Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Wow it's fantastic that they offered you this.To pull one not from a legend: Bruce Lee sometimes went to class early and then told the other students that the lesson was cancelled. By the time his teacher arrived, he had private tuition.
SBN Doug Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Okay, first I misinterpreted "chuffed" to be like we use "chafed" and thought you were upset. As I read through your lead in, it looked like you were about to tell us "they had the nerve to charge me for it" or something. Good news then, great! Take full advantage of the opportunity, and be sure to show the appropriate appreciation and respect. Kuk Sool Won - 4th danEvil triumphs when good men do nothing.
