Well i got my commupance guys! I can't go back to pay for the coat because last night my wallet was stolen And in it was much more the value of the coat. There was £40 cash and a £50 cheque. I was out drinking with friends for a birthday, i got in the taxi to go home and realised it had gone.

Personally, I have never been a big believer in Karma, or in the whole "what goes around, comes around" thing. I've seen too many people get away with too many things.

I dont think its karma more a case of just plain bad luck. As for the coat thing i wouldn't have worried about it i used to work in a large department store and that sort of thing happened all the time. You may even get the shop assisstant in to bother if you went back if the mistake has'nt been noticed.

The general role in shops (just my experience not saying thats its every place ) but it if its a honest mistake then once the customer leaves the shop then thats it, its the shops fault for not double checking.

I really wouldnt worry too much about it

I did go back in the pub i was in ect and reported it to the police. I will never see it again. Ok i was slightly dishonest in the shop but we are talking here about someone's personal belongings, someone is out there now spending my money. Luckily my mum gave me £20 to see me through.

I don't believe it, i know where my wallet went! Some of my so-called friends had stolen it, and robbed everything out of it! I am unbelievably gutted and sad that someone i knew like that could do that to me. It only came to light because one of them came forward but she claimed not to have the wallet or money but named the person who did. If the other person doesn't return everything then i will be reporting her to the police as i have already reported the wallet as stolen.

Wow, Kerry, that's terrible. But, yeah, call the police and persue it. Hopefully there wasn't much in there to steal that can't be replaced and, as a plus, you'll come away from the situation with some new knowledge about the people/person who stole from you. At least, when they decided to show their true colors, they just took your wallet, rather than taking or doing something more serious.

I couldnt imagine having 'friends' like that. At least one of them has at least a littl ebit of a concience. Did you know these people long? I hope everything works out.

Thanks guys. There was two pictures of my kids in there, one of my eldest on his first day of school. I bet they are flushed down the toilet or something. I am unbelieveably gutted. I didnt know them very long but well enough to go out for a drink with them ect. To be honest they are more my friends mates (who's birthday it was), but i do know them well.
